About
Hi, I’m Nai. Still discovering myself.
I arrived at 40 with a new certainty: I don’t want a life that just works. I want a life that thrills me.
I’m Mexican. I work in marketing and media: I build brands, lead teams, design strategies, and I love understanding how things work. That’s the part that fits on a résumé.
The other part doesn’t fit anywhere. She reads late into the night. She cooks dinner for herself and counts it as a great plan. She climbs a wall to remember what it feels like to be a beginner. She travels so the world feels bigger. She thinks about money, because money is freedom too. She loves, gets it wrong, changes her mind and starts again.
I’m analytical and romantic. Ambitious and introspective. Independent and affectionate. Structured and spontaneous. For a long time I thought I had to choose. Not anymore.
Why Nai es Nai?
Because at 40, nobody hands you the map. Nobody explains how to build a life of your own: how to be alone without feeling left behind, how to make friends again, how to invest, how to start something new as a beginner all over again. So I decided to tell it while I live it.
This isn’t the blog of someone who has it all figured out. It’s the open diary of a woman building, with curiosity and without rushing, the life she wants to live. Adventures and ordinary Tuesdays both belong here. So do ambition and pleasure, the things I know and everything I’m still figuring out.
